Hi, I’m Dixit, I love building stuff on the internet.

I‘ve been building stuff on the internet for most of my adult life. Having first built a citizen journalism app - geo-tagged public messaging board in my final year of college I haven‘t looked back since. This year I shipped 2 AI productsMagicMoments AIandBleedBlue AI.Both built end-to-end by me as a solo indie-developer

The most complex things I have built would be the AI stuff I worked on this year and some very interesting React frontend project I worked on in the past like Medium (internal working name) was a fully featured drag and drop content platform very similar to Notion. It was built on top of an early version of DraftJS where we built complex features like inline commenting/adding notes, syntax highlighting, inserting videos and images blocks inline with text etc. I almost feel like I‘ve built Notion a few times over in the past few years .

I started working remotely a year before Covid, but I‘ve really taken to it the past few years . The key to great remote working I‘ve discovered is to almost over-communicate over Slack. In fact my last gig Quikyr was a fully remote async team where given the small team, we were all able to independently pick the most important things to work on .

I am also a natural builder of stuff. I love experimenting with new technology, trying to find interesting and useful things to build. Like this one time I put a fully playable version of DOOM (the game) inside a tweet!
